Sketchbook Project 2012

Here it is folks! The Sketchbook project 2012. I made this sketchbook with a lot of emotion and feeling. None of it was planned out at all. It was all just because. I hope you all enjoy and maybe get inspired.

Ahoy There!

Yes, It has been awhile. I'm still around, still doing art, and still being creative. I am getting into different types of mediums, and so far, it's been exciting. I can't wait til' I get more expereince at doing all these different types of mediums. :)

I picked up this book recently, from Amazon.ca. It is called Graphic Design excerises. It's been pretty interesting. I've read the intro, and one of the projects in it, and it seems pretty cool. I've been working on one, here and there. It's coming along. I have the thumbnails and the title page designed. I am currently trying to find an article that would look the best, with my layout. It has been a challenge. But, I am getting there! Here's a taste of what I've done so far - Link!

I am done! I sent through UPS on Jan 11, 2011. It got there on the 14th :). It felt rushed, I wish I worked on it more then I had.. but it is done. Here is the link - Sketchbook!. Everything is uploaded. :D

A new hobby of mine I guess. I just started knitting int he first weeks of December. And, now I am working on my first project, a scarf for my mom. It's coming out pretty good so far.. but I am a newbie, and there is mistakes in the scarf. :( But other then that, I am getting the hang of it, and it's looking very pretty!

The Sketchbook Project - Tour 2011

I thought I would show off my sketchbook project. I am not quite finished yet, but I am nearing the end, I believe I have about 15 more sketches to do. So far it's been coming out alright, it's starting to feel rushed however. Deadlines must be met though. I've been doing every other page, as I feel the pages are just too thin. Well here's what I have so far.. Enjoy!

TelevisionBox, How it came to be

For those who have been wondering how I came up with the name TelevisionBox, this post will give you some insight of how I came to be the TelevisionBox.

A year or two now, I don't remember the date. Whenever I drove into the garage at my house, I would notice this little cute piggy bank on the shelf in the garage. I've never noticed it before, until that day. I believe the garage was cleaned up a couple days before hand. For awhile, I left it where it was, not knowing where it came from. But, I do have a suspicion that it came from my grandpas house, a very long time ago.

One day.. I finally did take it off the shelf, and I put it on my shelf above my computer monitor. The box itself turned inspiring for me. I like the way it looked, I liked the way it was designed, the font was creative, the television was old school. Soon it became my internet persona.

And, that is how the name TelevisionBox came to be.

Rabble!

Lots of noisy customers this week and last week. Thought I'd get all my feelings out quickly, and somewhat efficiently. I feel better now.

A couple of days ago now, I got onto the PeculiarBliss.com front page! Here is a link to my artwork! It is very exciting to get exposure from another website. I'm not sure why I chose this sketch to share, but I'm happy I did, as the website is all about doodles, and images.
